In this first of three courses, we'll cover the basics of Christianity, the purpose of the Church (Parkgate in particular), and the importance of finding your specific place in the mission
to which God has called each and every one of us.

Parkgate Community Church offers three classes for new attendees to understand what the church and Christianity is all about and how various people fit into it. During this study we will explore:

Christianity
The Purpose of the Church
Life in the Spirit.

The story is told of a minister who waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars in line in front of the service station. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. "Reverend," said the young man, "sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip." The minister chuckled, "I know what you mean. It's the same in my business!" These “Growing in Faith” classes will help us not wait until the last minute to get ready for eternity.
