Parkgate Community Church offers three classes for people to understand what the church is about: Growing Together, Growing Up, and, the third class, Growing H.A.B.I.T.S. During this class we will discuss how to grow in our faith. The six topics will be:

• Honor – Honoring God
• Adoration – Worshipping God
• Bible Study – Knowing God
• Involvement - Serving God
• Talk - Praying to God
• Stewardship – Faithfulness to God

   There were once two young boys at the breakfast table arguing about who was going to have the first pancake that their mum was cooking. The mother, hearing the argument, seized the moment to teach her sons a lesson. She said, “Guys, do you know Jesus would have let his brother have the first pancake and would have waited for the second one?” Kevin, the older brother, turned to his brother and said, “You be Jesus.” 
      The truth is that WE need to be like Jesus. That’s what the Christian faith is all about:  growing and becoming more like Jesus.  We grow in our faith when we practice certain essentials like Bible study, worship, etc.
