General Policy:

The church facilities are available for weddings and receptions for those who worship regularly at Parkgate Community Church. Under some circumstances, facilities may be rented to individuals who do not worship regularly at Parkgate Community Church. The Senior Pastor will generally make the determination as to whether someone worships regularly at the church.

Reservations must be made through the church office by calling (281) 487-4283.

Facility rental includes the use of two classrooms, if necessary, to allow for the wedding party’s preparation for the ceremony.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the facilities.

All fees must be paid prior to the rehearsal. If no rehearsal is scheduled, then fees are to be paid at least 5 days before the wedding.

CHURCH MEMBERS

Custodian............................. $75.00 for Sanctuary and $50.00 for Rohr Room*

Set-up.................................... $10.00 per person per hour*

Security................................. $5.00 per hour ($25 minimum)

Sound.................................... $25.00 for sound technician

NON-MEMBERS: Non-members are charged a deposit of $50.00 to hold the date for a maximum of six (6) months. Wedding coordinators are mandatory for all non-members. Receptions are not possible. Rental fees for use of the facilities are as follows:

Custodian............................. $75.00 for Sanctuary and $50.00 Rohr Room*

Sound.................................... $25.00 for sound technician

ASSOCIATED MEMBERS: (Persons who are involved in one of the church’s ministries, i.e. Children’s Center, Scouts, etc.)

Pastor’s Fee......................... $100.00 for counseling and ceremony

Custodian............................. $75.00 for Sanctuary and $50.00 for Rohr Room*

Set-up.................................... $10 per person per hour*

Security................................. $5.00 per hour ($25 minimum)

Sound.................................... $25.00 for sound technician

MUSICIANS: If necessary, the Pastor may be able to assist you in securing an organist, pianist, or vocalist. Fees are generally negotiated with the individual musician; however, suggested guidelines for payment are as follows:

Musicians ............................. Additional $35 - $50

Organist................................ $75 - $125

Vocalist................................. $35 - $75

WEDDING COORDINATOR(S): Wedding coordinators are furnished by the church for all weddings. The hourly rate for the wedding coordinator is $15 per hour. Fees for the wedding coordinator are based on his/her level of involvement, which is determined by the needs and desires of the couple. Wedding coordinators are the liaison between the couple and all church personnel, and he/she is directly responsible to the Senior Pastor.

GUEST PASTORS: To officiate, they must be approved by the Senior Pastor.
