Our Vision:
KIX exists to connect children to: God, “me,” our community and friends.
Our Goals:
- To see children come to know Christ as their personal savior
- To prompt our students to bring friends to church
- To familiarize the students with major Biblical stories and concepts
- To familiarize our students with using the Bible (finding passages, knowing the arrangements of books, etc.)
- To encourage Bible memorization
- To promote Christian values, beliefs and principles
About KIX Learning Hour:
KIX Learning Hour classes at PCC are designed to give the children of Parkgate an opportunity
to learn God’s Word and Christian principles.
The lessons are taken from Gospel Light Sunday School curriculum which follow the major stories
and time line of the Bible, teach Christian principles and values such as love, peace, joy, forgiveness, grace, etc.
Each week, children will learn a Bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and
focus of the lesson. The lessons are reinforced through activities which emphasize character
development and spiritual growth – all designed with the ability of the children in mind.

How do I sign up my child?
The classes are held from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. To keep all children safe, we ask that all children be signed
in at the KIX table in the hall participate in KIX Learning Hour. Children will be given a KIX nametag with a
unique number and parents will be given a card with the same number. When parents pick up the children
from the classroom, they will be required to match the card to the child’s numbered nametag. Children attending
KIX Worship are NOT required to check in again.
Can I be involved?
Absolutely! Our KIX program is always looking for volunteers with a passion for children’s ministry.
If you are interested in volunteering, fill out your blue card indicating you would like to investigate KIX.
You will have the opportunity to sit in on a KIX Learning Hour session with “no strings attached,” just to
see if it’s right for you. If you like it, join our team! If you don’t, simply find the best ministry fit for you.
You may observe as many times as you would like.
